The Mexican state of Quintana Roo is located at the eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula and is world-wide known as one of the best destinies for diving in the Caribbean. The area is recognized among divers of the United States of America, Canada and Europe.

At the south of Cancun is located the second bigger coral reef barrier in the world, as well considered the biggest in the North hemisphere, it extends along the coast of Honduras with some open zones; besides, around Cozumel, Isla Mujeres and Contoy islands, there are special coralline formations, the very famous reef walls of Palancar in Cozumel or Manchones at Isla Mujeres.
On other side, along all the Yucatan Peninsula exist underground rivers that, in the case of the Mayan Riviera, have been explored in their majority and are opened to the public who appreciate cave and cenotes diving, as well as open sea and inland diving, this makes this zone a unique destiny due to all the available possibilities.
